Scholarships and Financial aid available for
International Students in Switzerland
Foreign students during the first academic years are
generally not eligible for financial support by the
Universities. Partial or full scholarships are
available for candidates who already have followed one
academic year with excellent notes. The full or
partial scholarship varies from CHF3'000 - to CHF
15,000 - Students in the universities are allowed to
work 20 hours per week during the semester and full
time during the university holidays with an average
salary around CHF 20 - per hour. For other financial
help, if any, please contact the Swiss Embassy in the
applicant's country of residence.
